Spinning wheel goes round and round!
Now with the cooler weather making an entrance, my spinning wheel has started to call out for some love and attention again. Embarrassingly, I still have the same project patiently waiting on spindles as last year. The wool was meant to be spun and then knitted into a beanie for a friend living in London. We’ve now reached the point where said beanie-to-be is partly wool awaiting spinning and partly yarn on the bobbin, and my friend is in the process of moving back to Brisbane in the next couple of months… so let’s make the aim to greet her with a new beanie when she arrives in Brisbane in the springtime!
