Finally finished a pair of socks from self-dyed yarn! I call the colour Lemon-Jelly, mainly because it’s a lemony yellow and I made jelly today. The sock pattern was an MKAL by Becky Greene on Ravelry called To Dragons with Love, hence this whole project has been now named “The Lemon-Jelly Dragon Socks”.
TheAlien is known to dance at bus stops when a good song comes on!

TheBlueGreenAlien and TheBlueGreenAlien’s Mother celebrated yesterday by adding to their already extensive fabric collection! It was great fun!
Work was celebrating Melbourne Cup Day yesterday and as part of the celebrations, we all bought in a plate to share. I baked a cake Monday night and since I didn’t have enough chocolate at home, I decorated it Tuesday morning at work in hopes that it would set by lunch time! Apologies for the bad photos – they were done on my phone.
